Warm Fork Spring River




The Warm Fork Spring River is a stream in Oregon County, Missouri and northern Fulton County, Arkansas.[1] The stream begins in western Oregon County at the confluence of Howell Creek and Elk Creek at 36°40′36″N 91°39′00″W / 36.67667°N 91.65000°W / 36.67667; -91.65000 and the stream becomes the Spring River at its confluence with the cold springwaters of Mammoth Spring in northern Fulton County at 36°29′40″N 91°32′10″W / 36.49444°N 91.53611°W / 36.49444; -91.53611Coordinates: 36°29′40″N 91°32′10″W / 36.49444°N 91.53611°W / 36.49444; -91.53611.[1][2][3]


The stream was named due to the temperature difference between its waters and the cold springwaters entering from Mammoth Spring.[4]
