Bosco Marengo (Italian pronunciation: [ˈbosko maˈreŋɡo]) (Piedmontese: Ël Bòsch) is a town and comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) southeast of Turin and about 12 kilometres (7 mi) southeast of Alessandria.


Bosco Marengo borders the following municipalities: Alessandria, Basaluzzo, Casal Cermelli, Fresonara, Frugarolo, Novi Ligure, Pozzolo Formigaro, Predosa, and Tortona.



Nuclear enrichment plant


There was a nuclear enrichment plant in Bosco Marengo, which started operating in 1973. In December 2008 it was decided that it should be decommissioned.[2]
